PAINTINGS

The name Paint Nectar comes from my love of mixing oil paint to a honey-like consistency to create drips in my paintings - I always thought the drips reminded me of nectar from the hummingbird feeders my grandmother had. The name has morphed into my entire art practice with painting always being at the forefront. My studio practice focuses on abstract landscape paintings and pure abstract work. All of my work is inspired by my memories of people, travel, and sentiments from over the years.

I try to evoke a deep sense of nostalgia in all my paintings -

Like the feeling you get when you wake up from a dream and have to think twice if it was real or not.
